The Mighty Nice Band "Denver's Bad City Boyz" is known for its Latin Funk, Old School, R&B Soul, Salsas, Cumbias and Corridos with a twist of Latin Rock and Country.

The band was formed by Gino Rael / Band Leader / Lead Vocals. The band members are:

Ernie Apolinar / Bass Guitar

Holly Holverson / Keyboards

Myco Johnson / Drums

Patricio Romero / Lead Guitar

The Mighty Nice Band has performed throughout the state of Colorado with over 1,000 performances including opening shows for La Voz Nueva’s 35th Anniversary, Servicios de La Raza 40th Anniversary Gala, Bridgeway to Hope Gala, KRFC Radio live in Fort Collins, KGNU Radio in Boulder, University of Northern Colorado Banquet, Metro State University Chicano and Chicana Studies for their Cinco de Mayo. They have also played at El Grito Celebrations, Cinco de Mayo 2014/2015/2016/2017 and the Juneteenth Music Festival 2014/2015/2016 and at A Taste of Colorado 2014/2015 on the KBCO World Class Rock Stage. They also performed for the Annual Cesar E. Chavez Day March 2015/2016/2017, the People Fair Concert Series 2015, Capitol Hill People's Fair 2015, Thornton Harvest Fest 2015, the Historical Aztlan Theatre 2016, the Northern Colorado Cinco de Mayo 2016/2017, Fort Collins, CO, the 2016 RMPA Music Awards "Sweet Old School" Gala Dance and Concert, the 2nd Annual Federal Heights and Servicios de la Raza Health Fair 2016,  the 1st/2nd Annual Colorado Latino Festival 2016/2017, Longmont, CO, the ArvadaFestivals Independence Day Celebration, Arvada, CO, the  Isle of Capri Casino and the Monarch  Casino in Blackhawk, CO in 2014 and the Multicultural Summer Social, City of Federal Heights 2016/2017, and the RMPA On A Sunday Afternoon, Latin Jam XVII-The Ultimate Jam Session-The Pinto Project 2016 and the Cheyenne Hispanic Festival 2017, Cheyenne, WY.

"Celebrating over 30 years of the renowned Festival Fridays with music, dancing, and fun!  Join us for 5 Fridays in a row starting July 8 as we turn the Jackson Sculpture Garden into a live music venue as the summer heats up with cocktails, food, and outstanding live music."

 

 

JULY 20, 2016 KPHT 95.5 PUEBLO'S GREATEST HITS, INTERVIEW WITH GINO RAEL, BAND LEADER OF THE MIGHTY NICE BAND

"KPHT 95.5 Pueblo's Greatest Hits" introduced the "Mighty Nice Band" live on stage July 22, 2016, there was 500+plus in attendance listening to Denver's Elite Group and welcomed them to the city of Pueblo. It was an amazing, electrifying time! We even had an article in the Pueblo Chieftain newspaper! Thank you for having us play at your event!

2012 marked the sixth year they have performed at the Colorado State Fair Amphitheater.
